I believe, now what?

Believe is the beginning of our own methaphysical framework. It is the start of our worldview. The unwritten book of our own philosophy. Not our parents’, not our partners’, not even our priests’. It is the start, or continuation, of our deepest process. It is the creation of how to respond, how to act, how to see, how to explain, how to communicate, how to think, how to feel. It is the start of our own, coherent system, which determines who we become. After believe, we are in becoming, which never stops. After believe, we refine, further and further. Philosophers’ books evolve, until they reach a mature mind. Not a necessary true mind, but mature. Because they have become their refined system. Which we all do, inevitably, as a result of continuation of the path we have choosen. This continues for our believe, our character, our mood, our behaviour. Until we change believes, we only moderately change. Believe changes our core, it is the object of change, it is change.

How does believe change me if I say: from today, I will follow Jesus?

We might choose not to act against the 10 commandments anymore. We might choose to increase a deeper understanding of Christian faith. We might start praying. We might start reading the Bible as if it is true. We might try to live according to love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. We might try to explain the way our live evolves, not only as a result of science, but as a result of God’s interference. We might change our view about success. We might change our value of money. We might change our ideas about afterlife. We might even believe that all of these are the result of God, not of my own efforts. We might change our behaviour towards our spouse, kids, parents, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, employees, clients, customers, patients. We might change our opinion about ourselves, wellbeing, status, self-centeredness. We might even become more aware of these things. We might change our view about the feasability of live, our view about chance, luck, odds.

We might change about everything. Only the facts remain the same. What we observe, is what we observe. What we see, is what we see. What we hear, is what we hear. But what we observe, see and hear changes; our attentention is renewed. And with the observation, we reason to another direction. Our observations do receive a different place in our metaphysical framework. We might we used to reason forward, now we go backwards. We took something as an argument, now as a reason for praise.

I believe, now what? is the question of a soul, unaware of the process that has already started.
